Reggie Clews - violinViolinist Reggie Clews is now based in the EU Mediterranean island nation of Malta and currently holds the position of Assistant Concertmaster in the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. Recent orchestral tours have included 8 cities in China, World Expo in Milan, EU Cultural days in Frankfurt, EU Presidency in Brussels, Musikverein Vienna, Berlin Philharmonie, Munich, Wiesbaden, Stuttgart, Carnegie Hall New York, St. Petersburg, and Moscow. In addition to being a full-time orchestral musician, Reggie regularly performs solo recitals, chamber music, conducts master-classes, represents as jury member for international competitions and is a founding director of the Malta Fine Instrument Society. Recent performances include Paganini's 24 Caprices in Malta and China, Solo violin recitals in the Gaulitanus Music Festival and Pjazza Teatru Rjal, String Quartet performances for the International Spring Orchestra Festival, and Three Palaces Festival to name a few.

Reggie studied at McGill University in Montreal, Canada under distinguished pedagogues Mauricio Fuchs, now head of strings at Indiana University, and Richard Roberts, Concertmaster of the Orchestre Symphonie de Montreal where he attained an L.Mus. He later worked with the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Chamber Orchestra and San Diego Opera and held the post of Principal Second violin in the Mozart Classical Orchestra in Newport Beach, CA. He has featured as soloist with the Imperial Valley Symphony, North Coast Symphony, Tefareth Israel Orchestra, and the California Consort, while recording several Oscar-winning film scores and Grammy Award-winning albums in the Hollywood studios of Los Angeles. In addition to his musical achievements, he has an Associates of Sciences Degree in Business Management
