The 1885 Inzoli organ in Mosta Dome is the largest historic organ in the Maltese Islands with almost 2000 pipes. It is a typical ‘theatrical’ – style Italian organ. Apart from the usual typical organ stops, it also has a relatively large number of reed and string stops, as well as various accessories like semi-spherical bells and ‘timpani in all tones’. Its pipes are voiced according to the particular acoustics of Mosta Dome thus projecting a majestic sound into the church body. The organ was completely restored by Robert Buhagiar in 2006-2007 thanks to a sponsorship effort by Mosta Gunners Football Club
