Jason Camilleri - Trumpet

Jason started playing trumpet at the age of 9 at the Mnarja Band club in Gozo, and continued his music studies under the guidance of Charles Mizzi.

In 2008 Jason joined the Armed Forces Of Malta Band as a professional trumpet player, and continued to study under his tutors Andre Helleur and Shirley Helleur.

Jason is currently studying with Prof Mark O'Keefie, Brendan Ball, and Paul Thomas.  As a Professional trumpet player Jason has given many solo recitals and ensemble work in Gozo and abroad.

Jason Camilleri is also a part time trumpet player with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, and a trumpeter with VIBE Ensemble.

In 2016 Jason was appointed Band Master of Ghaqda Muzikali Vizittazjoni band of Gharb.
