About the Organ
The grand organ at Balluta was originallybuilt by Zanin in the 1950’s and located in a church in Italy. In 2014 Robert Buhagiar relocated this organ to Malta, extended the stoplist and installed a new 3-manual console. He also revoiced the organ in accordance with the particular acoustics present in Balluta Parish Church. Having about 1700 pipes, it is one of the main modern concert organs in the Maltese Islands.
