Diego Cannizzaro - Organ

Diego Cannizzaro graduated in piano in the Conservatorium  "Vincenzo Bellini" of Palermo and in the organ and organ composition in the Conservatorium "Francesco Morlacchi", Perugia, organ and harpsicord in the Academy of Pistoia ( the City of Organs, Italy), North Germany Organ Academy (Bremen) and the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain).

Finally, he gained a doctorate in “History and analysis of musical cultures” in the University “La Sapienza”, Rome with a dissertation about “The music for organ and harpsichord in the kingdoms of Naples and Sicily in the XVI and XVII centuries”.

Diego Cannizzaro  is honorary inspector of historical organs in Sicily, organ teacher in the conservatory of Caltanissetta and artistic director of “In tempore organi” festival (historical organs in Sicily). He is guest teacher of early italian organ music in the conservatory of St. Petersburg  and has held organ master classes for the Academies of Enghien and Ath (Belgium).
