St Julian Parish Church, St Julian's
About the Organ
The organ at St. Julian’s parish church was built by Mascioni in 1965. It is a 2 manual electric-action organ with 12 stops. It is a typical Mascioni of this period, with bright Principals and Ripieno, warm flutes and a very responsive action. The organ was extensively overhauled in 2011 by Robert Buhagiar.

History
In 1682 the small church which overlooks St. Julian's Bay was enlarged and in 1848 it became a subsidiary of the Birkirkara parish; in 1848 it was further enlarged and in 1891 it became the parish church of the locality. In recent times the Lapsi church, as it is popularly known, became too small for the people living in St. Julians and in 1961 a new church was built and opened for worship in 1968. The Pope met the world of culture in this church during his visit to Malta in 1989.
